3 Weeks of Live Teachings

Each 1.5-hour session is taught LIVE by me on Zoom (with an extended 2-hour first call)! You’ll learn how to harness the power of your Autonomic Nervous System with science-backed tools to make lasting change in your life.

Meet your Somatic Practitioner!

I’m a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Trauma Coach who is trained in Polyvagal interventions and on the training team at the Polyvagal Institute. I specialize in somatic trauma healing: attachment work, parts and inner child work, and nervous system regulation.

But before I trained professionally in these modalities and interventions, I came to this work as someone in need of healing and support, just like you.

I spent decades of my life stuck in my dysregulation, unable to move forward, and feeling like I was broken. I tried almost everything out there, from talk therapy to reading all the books to weekend retreats. And while I found some relief, nothing seemed to last long term.

It wasn’t until I found somatic healing that everything changed for me.

I know firsthand how powerful it is to work at the level of our nervous system. There’s nothing special about me or my system. If I can do this work and get unstuck, then I know you can too.

Everything we will be doing inside this program is backed by the latest research in Neuroscience and Trauma. Let’s look at how these powerful principles apply to you:

  • Our Autonomic Nervous System is a self-protective system made up of two branches and three circuits that are 300-500 million years old! Polyvagal Theory shows us that this brilliant, adaptive system has evolved with one mission: to keep us safe.

  • One of the primary reasons for longterm dysregulation is unresolved trauma that has become stuck and stored in our bodies. Our Autonomic Nervous System will continually or perpetually protect us from what it doesn’t yet know is over.

  • 80% of information travels subcortically from our bodies to our brains. Only 20% of information travels from our brain to our body. That’s why this approach is so effective! When we change what’s happening in our bodies, it changes what’s happening in our brains too.

  • Our Autonomic Nervous System is subcortical (below the cortex), which means it cannot understand a cognitive, spoken language. That’s why we can’t just talk our way out of how we’re feeling. To shift our dysregulation, we must learn to speak the embodied language of our nervous system, which is somatic in nature.

  • It’s possible to change our experience! Through the process of repeated neural exercises, we can actually reshape our autonomic tone, create new neural pathways, and spend more time in regulation.
